Der Laphroaig Cask Lore ist ein Single Malt Whisky von der schottischen Whiskyregion Islay. Benannt nach dem gälischen Wort für „Überlieferung“, vereint dieser Whisky das Wissen und die Handwerkskunst mehrerer Generationen von Master Blendern. Sein facettenreiches Aroma entsteht durch die Reifung in fünf verschiedenen Fassarten, die eine fantastische Balance zwischen Torf, Rauch, Süße und Würze schaffen.
Durch die Verwendung von Quarter Casks erhält er eine geschmeidige Textur. Oloroso-Sherry-Butts verleihen ihm eine fruchtige Süße und Ex-Bourbon-Fässer eine nette Vanillenote. Die Kombination von Whiskys mit einem Alter zwischen 7 und 21 Jahren sorgt für eine fabelhafte Komplexität. Das Ergebnis ist ein interessanter Islay-Whisky der nicht nur Fans begeistern wird.
